Actually, you don’t always need to use the in-game menu. If you’re already chatting with your friends on Steam, you can join them directly through the Steam overlay. Just click on their name, and you should see a ‘Join Game’ option. It’s a real time-saver!

lol, who still plays Terraria in multiplayer? Just build something cool or fight bosses solo.

Super easy! Just fire up Steam and launch Terraria. Once you're in the game, open your friends list, right-click on the friend you want to join, and hit 'Join Game'. Boom, you're in! Make sure your friend’s server is up and they're actually playing though.

Joining a server through Steam? Just make sure the host has set up everything correctly on their end. I had a buddy who couldn't figure it out and turns out, he hadn't forwarded his ports properly. Always check the basics folks!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
