Use a pickaxe! Stone Golems are weak to blunt damage, and nothing is blunter than a pickaxe to the face!

The Frostner hammer works wonders. Its frost and blunt damage will have that Golem crumbling in no time.

If you don't have a pickaxe or Frostner, craft an Iron Mace. It's solid for bashing those rocky brutes.
