Ah, the ol' 'I wonder what happens if...' itch, huh? Well, in Terraria, you can't directly kill the Traveling Merchant or any other friendly NPCs for that matter. They aren't subject to player damage, so swinging your sword at them is just going to get you some odd looks from your pixelated friends. But why would you want to off the guy who's just trying to cut you a deal on some rare items?

Why though? He's the plug for some of the best gear in the game. Don't bite the hand that feeds, my dude.

Actually, you can't. NPCs like the Traveling Merchant are immune to damage from players. So no matter how hard you try, he's gonna stick around.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
