To lay down in Roblox Prison Life on your iPad, simply press the 'C' key on a connected Bluetooth keyboard. Otherwise, use the crouch button located on the in-game interface!
Without a keyboard, laying down isn't possible. Stick with crouching using the in-game button.
Straight from my own experience: get a Bluetooth keyboard and hit 'C'! It's the easiest way to lay down.
