Easy peasy! Just go to your Navigation console, click on the upper right corner (it looks like a symbol), select 'Public' or 'Friends Only', and voila, you're out of Solo mode.

Warframe pro tip: You can switch matchmaking modes from the Node selection screen too. Just don't forget to switch back when you're done!

Navigate to your matchmaking settings in the upper right corner of the star chart, change from 'Solo' to 'Public', 'Friends Only', or 'Invite Only'. Done and done.
