From my experience, you just need to log in to your Bethesda account online, go to settings, and link your Xbox. Simple as that!

Super simple! Just start up a Bethesda game on your Xbox, and it'll prompt you to sign in or create a Bethesda.net account. After that, follow the on-screen instructions to link your accounts. Boom, done!
