Lowering the tow truck in GTA 5 is super easy! Just get into the tow truck and press the right d-pad button on consoles or the left CTRL key on PC. This will lower the hook. To raise it, press the same button again. It's all about timing and finding that sweet spot for your towing needs!

Can confirm, right d-pad on consoles or left CTRL on PC to lower the tow truck in GTA 5. Had to tow a bunch of cars last night for a mission, worked like a charm every time!

Hot take: Why lower the tow truck when you can just crash into whatever you're trying to tow? Way more fun. ? But yeah, pressing the right d-pad or left CTRL does the trick if you're actually trying to play the game properly.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
