Lowering your Valorant CPU usage is all about finding the right balance. Start with lowering your in-game graphics settings, like texture quality and shadow detail. These are big CPU eaters. Also, make sure your PC isn’t running unnecessary background apps or processes that could be hogging resources. Finally, updating your graphics drivers can help, as newer drivers are often more efficient.

In my experience, capping your FPS can make a huge difference. I used to let it run wild, but after setting a limit, I noticed my CPU wasn't working as hard. It's easier on your system and can reduce heat, which is always good.

Hot take: Just buy a better PC lol. But seriously, check for overheating. Sometimes it's not about your settings but about your hardware struggling to keep cool.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
