How to Make a Battle Arena in Terraria
Making a battle arena in Terraria is all about giving yourself the upper hand. Start by flattening a large area. You'll want to make several layers of platforms spaced about 5-10 blocks apart so you can easily jump between them to avoid enemies. Lighting is crucial, so place torches or other light sources around. Don't forget to set up campfires and heart lanterns for health regeneration, and consider adding honey pits and banners for additional buffs. If you're feeling fancy, wire up some traps and heart/star statues for extra resources during the fight!

Just slap some platforms in the air, light it up like a Christmas tree, and you're good to go. Honestly, the fancier setups are cool, but not always necessary.
FYI, building near an NPC or two might not be a bad idea either. They can occasionally lend a hand (or at least serve as a distraction) during those tougher battles. Worked for me when I accidentally dragged a horde of zombies into my makeshift arena/marketplace.
