The trick to making a bigger picture from Pokemon cards is to think of your card layout as a mosaic. First, sort your cards by color and design elements. Then, sketch out your desired picture and start placing the cards on a flat surface according to your sketch. It’s like putting together a puzzle, where each card is a piece that contributes to the overall image. For a permanent piece, you can carefully glue the cards onto a poster board.

Hot take: Instead of ruining cards by gluing them, just lay them out on the floor. When you're done admiring your masterpiece, you can pick them all up and still have a playable collection.

I actually did this for a school project! I sorted all my cards by the main colors and then used the ones with big, bold character art for the main features of my picture. Took a bit of time, but the end result was worth it. Snap a picture before you move them, if you don't want to glue them down.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
