Black lenses in Terraria can't actually be 'made' in the traditional crafting sense. Instead, you gotta farm for them by defeating Demon Eyes during nighttime. These critters drop black lenses at a pretty low rate, so patience is key. Remember, it's all about those nighttime battles!
