Hot take here but, why bother with a private tournament when the matchmaking system pits you against similar skill levels? Just enjoy the game as is and save yourself the headache of organizing something that big.

Starting a private tournament in Apex Legends isn't as straightforward as hitting a 'Create Tournament' button, unfortunately. You gotta go through a bit of a process. First, gather your squad and decide on the tournament rules. Next, you'll need to contact EA through their Community Tournament Guidelines page to get permission and guidelines for hosting. They're pretty supportive of community events, so as long as you're not breaking any game rules, you should be good to go!

I actually hosted a small Apex tourney for my college dorm last semester. It's all about having a solid plan and great communication. Make sure you get approval from EA first, it's crucial. We used Discord to coordinate matches and keep everyone updated. It was a blast and a great way to bond over the game. Just follow the rules, and you'll be fine!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
