Making a public ID in Apex Legends is all about creating your EA Account first! When you sign up for Apex Legends on any platform (PS, Xbox, Switch, PC), it'll prompt you to either log in to an existing EA Account or create a new one. Choose the create option, follow the steps, and bam! Your public ID is essentially your EA Account name. You can then fine-tune your privacy settings in-game to decide what info you want public.

Actually, it's not as simple as creating an account. Your public ID is your username, but remember, it has to be unique. If the name's taken, add some numbers or symbols. Also, keep it clean if you don't want trouble!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
