How to make chickens happy in winter in Stardew Valley
Keeping your chickens happy in winter in Stardew Valley is all about making sure they're well-fed and cozy! Make sure you have a heater in your coop; it keeps those feathered friends warm during the cold days. Also, don't forget to feed them every day. Chickens can't go outside to eat grass in winter, so you'll need to fill their feed trough with hay (either bought from Marnie or collected with a scythe during other seasons). Happy chickens mean quality eggs!

Honestly, just make sure they've got food and a heater. I barely notice a difference in their mood in winter vs. any other season. It's more about preventing them from getting grumpy than making them extra happy.
Easy peasy! Just buy a heater from Marnie's Ranch and shove it in your coop. Oh, and feed them. Chickens can鈥檛 peck at snow for food, unfortunately.
Heaters are a scam. Just keep feeding them. Never had an unhappy chicken in winter without a heater.
