You can also set Fortnite to high priority by creating a simple batch file. Open Notepad, type 'wmic process where name="FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe" CALL setpriority "high priority"', and save it as a .bat file. Run it as an administrator before launching Fortnite.

Eh, just right-click Fortnite in Task Manager and set it to high. Faster FPS, here I come!

To make Fortnite high priority on Windows, open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc, find Fortnite in the 'Details' tab, right-click it, then click 'Set priority' and choose 'High.'

I've done this on my PC and it really helped reduce lag! Just make sure you don't mess with other system processes.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
