To craft a Nightmare Pickaxe in Terraria, you first gotta dive into the Corruption biome and fight the Eater of Worlds boss. Once you've shown them who's boss, gather the Shadow Scales it drops along with 12 Demonite Bars. Then, head over to an Iron or Lead Anvil, and boom, you've got yourself a Nightmare Pickaxe. Happy mining!
Why bother? The Deathbringer Pickaxe is way better and you get it from Crimson worlds. Nightmare Pickaxe is old news.
