Making rice in Stardew Valley is easy! First, you gotta plant rice shoots in spring. Plant them in tilled soil next to water. They grow automatically, no watering needed. After 8 days, boom, you harvest your rice. But it’s un-milled, so take it to a Mill to get some white rice ready for cooking or selling. Enjoy your farming!

Just buy it, honestly. Farming rice is cool and all, but if you're not into that agriculture life, just hit up Pierre's shop. He's got what you need.

I remember the first time I tried farming rice in Stardew Valley, thought watering it would make it grow faster. Nope! These bad boys grow by themselves as long as they're next to water. Felt pretty silly, but hey, you live and learn. The un-milled rice can be used in recipes or turned into white rice at the Mill, which is super useful.
