You gotta script the combat mechanics yourself using C#. You'll need to capture inputs for moves and combos and then animate them, just like the arcade classics. Good luck!

To make a Street Fighter-like game in Unity, start by mastering the Unity engine and C#. Next, create character models with animations in a 3D modeling software and import them into Unity. Use a fighting game framework or template available on the Unity Asset Store to speed up development (shh, it's not cheating!).

Psh, just download a Unity fighting game starter kit from the Asset Store and save your time for adding cool characters and epic soundtracks.

Built my own fighter game using Unity last year. It involves a lot of C# scripting for move sets and hit detection, and don't forget the animations! Totally rewarding experience, though.
