Just beat a mechanical boss and mine it with a Mythril/Orichalcum pickaxe. Simple as that.

Honestly, mining for Titanium is overrated. Palladium, Mythril, Orichalcum gear can get you through just fine. Why bother?

Making titanium in Terraria is all about luck and a good pickaxe! First, you gotta beat one of the mechanical bosses so the game blesses your world with new ores, including Titanium. Then, grab yourself a Mythril or Orichalcum pickaxe, 'cause you'll need it to mine Titanium ore. Find yourself venturing into the Cavern layer; that's where this shiny metal likes to hang out. Mine it, smelt three ores into a bar at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil, and voila, you're a Titanium craftsman!
