You can adjust the brightness in Valheim by tweaking the gamma settings in the game settings menu. If all else fails, change your monitor brightness!
I found that modifying the post-processing settings can really help. Turn down the 'bloom' and 'vignette'鈥攜ou'll notice a big difference!
Just wait for daylight. Nights are supposed to be dark, it's part of the game.
