You can't exactly make your name 'private' in Valorant, but you can change your display name to something less identifiable. Just head over to the Riot Games account management page, change your Riot ID and tagline. Remember, you can only do this for free once every 30 days. So, pick something you're cool with for a bit!

Privacy in Valorant is a bit of a misnomer. You can't hide your name, but a strategic change can practically make you 'invisible'. Go with generic names, avoid personal identifiers, and maybe, just maybe, you'll blend into the Valorant crowd.

No direct way to make your name private, but a fun workaround is to use a name that blends in, like 'Player1' or something. It鈥檚 not private, but it sure makes you less noticeable!

Short answer? Ya can't. Valorant doesn't let you go incognito with a private name. But, changing your name to something super random is as close as you're gonna get to 'hiding'.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
