How to Maximize Plants vs Zombies on Windows 10
To maximize Plants vs Zombies on Windows 10, right-click the game shortcut and select 'Properties'. Go to the 'Compatibility' tab, check 'Run in 640x480 screen resolution', and also select 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' choosing an older version of Windows. Apply the changes and start the game. This should let the game run in a maximized window. Although it might not be full screen, it's pretty close!

I've tried everything but ended up using a third-party software called 'Borderless Gaming'. It makes PvZ and other games run in a borderless windowed mode, filling up the screen without changing the game's resolution. Not a perfect fix, but it does the job!
Try updating your graphics driver. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause resolution issues with older games on new systems.
Just hit Alt + Enter when the game is running. This shortcut usually toggles full screen in many applications and games. Worked for me!
Honestly, the game's pretty old; don't expect it to fill modern widescreen monitors perfectly. Playing in windowed mode might be your best bet.
