Just slap that Mega Evolution card on the Basic Pokemon it evolves from, easy peasy. But doing so ends your turn, so think it through!

Mega evolving in the Pokemon TCG is super cool and not too complicated! First, you gotta have the Mega Evolution Pokemon card and the respective Basic Pokemon card it evolves from. Make sure the Basic Pokemon is already in play. Then, during your turn (but not the first turn or the turn a Pokemon was played), you can evolve the Pokemon by placing the Mega Evolution card on top of the Basic Pokemon. Remember, mega evolving ends your turn immediately, so plan wisely!

Honestly, Mega Evolutions are kinda overrated. You end your turn when you evolve, so use that move wisely or maybe stick to powering up without it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
