Mining meteorite in Terraria is a bit of an adventure! You'll need at least a Tungsten Pickaxe or better. However, getting your hands on a Gold Pickaxe or one made from Platinum will make the job easier. Remember, meteorite blocks deal damage when you touch them, so bring along some bombs or dynamites to clear the area first, or craft an Obsidian Skull to protect yourself. Happy mining!

Ain't nothing beats the old pickaxe for mining meteorite, but you wanna make sure it's a strong one. Gold or Platinum should do the trick. And watch your step, those meteorite blocks are hot stuff. Literally.

Just use bombs. Seriously, mining meteorite with pickaxes is old school. Bombing your way through is faster and way more fun. Just make sure you don't blow yourself up!

Honestly, just avoid meteorite mining until you've got decent gear. It's more hassle than it's worth early on. Get yourself geared up, then go for it.
