Mining Palladium in Terraria is pretty straightforward but needs some prep. First, you gotta trigger the hardmode by defeating the Wall of Flesh boss in your world. This causes new ores, including Palladium, to spawn. You'll need at least a Molten Pickaxe to start mining Palladium. If you've got the Pickaxe, go explore your world, specially the new hardmode ores that appeared post-Wall of Flesh defeat. Palladium often spawns in the Cavern layer, so keep an eye out there. Happy mining!

Just use a Molten Pickaxe or better. Palladium isn't too tough to mine once you're in hardmode. You'll find plenty as you explore.

Honestly, just smash some altars with the Pwnhammer and you'll get plenty of Palladium spawning in your world. Then it's just a matter of having the right pickaxe. I personally think the drill works faster, but that's just me.
