How to mute players in Apex Legends
Muting players in Apex Legends is pretty straightforward. During a match, just bring up the game menu (usually by pressing the 'Tab' key on PC, or the Menu button on Xbox/Playstation), head over to the 'Squad' tab, and you'll see a list of your teammates. Next to their names, there should be a little speaker icon. Just click or select that icon, and voila, no more unwanted chatter or background noise.

Just click the speaker icon next to their name. Ez.
Honestly, I rarely find the need to mute anyone. Apex community is chill for the most part. But yeah, speaker icon next to their name in the 'Squad' tab is the way to go.
