Easy! While Valorant doesn't have a built-in feature to automatically mute when you alt-tab out, you can manually adjust the sound. Go into your Sound settings in Windows, find the 'Volume Mixer' option, and you should be able to adjust Valorant's volume there without affecting other applications. Just slide it down when you alt-tab out, and back up when you're ready to jump back in!

Honestly, just set up a hotkey to toggle mute on your computer. You can use software like AutoHotkey to create a script that mutes Valorant with a single keypress. It's a bit of a workaround but does the trick perfectly.

I mute the whole system - easy fix and no extra setup required. Sure, you mute everything else too, but it works if you're not using other apps for sound.

Not really needed. If you're alt-tabbing, just enjoy the silence of not having to listen to anything Valorant-related. Keeps the focus on whatever else you're doing!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
