Opening an Obsidian Chest in Terraria isn't your everyday walk in the park! First, you gotta make sure you're in the Underworld, 'cause that's where these spicy chests like to hang out. Then, you're gonna need a Shadow Key. Yep, no ordinary key will do! You can find one of these bad boys in the Dungeon, lurking inside a Golden Chest. Once you've got your Shadow Key, it's a one-size-fits-all kind of deal - it unlocks any Obsidian Chest you stumble upon and doesn't even break. Happy looting!

Honestly, I never bother with Obsidian Chests. You can get better loot from fishing in lava. Just my two cents!

Just get a shadow key from the dungeon, and you're good. It's that simple. No need to overcomplicate things.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
