To open the map in GTA 5, just pause the game and navigate to the 'Map' tab in the game menu. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! If you're on PC, you can hit the pause button by pressing 'ESC' and then selecting the map. Console players can hit the 'Start' or 'Options' button on their controllers.
