Pro tip: use a guitar pick to pop off the side grips if you don’t have a prying tool. Works like a charm every time!

First, you gotta remove the battery pack. Then, use a Torx T8 screwdriver to take out the screws hidden under the battery pack and grips. Pry the grips off carefully with a plastic tool so you don’t damage 'em—voilà, you’re in!

Honestly, unless you really need to fix something, I'd just leave it to a pro. Those side grips can be a pain to pop off!

You'll need a Torx T8 screwdriver to remove the screws—there’s five of 'em including the one under the battery pack. Take off the side grips using a plastic opening tool. Be gentle but firm!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
