From my experience, you gotta press the dodge button exactly when the attack is about to connect. Good luck!
Press the dodge button (circle on PlayStation) right before an incoming attack to parry it in Spider-Man 2.
To parry in Spider-Man 2, you need to press the dodge button just before an enemy attack lands. Timing is everything!
