Pausing a custom game in Valorant is super easy! First, make sure you're the game host or have been given ‘Pause Match During Buy Phase’ permissions by the host. When you are in the match, just hit ‘Esc’ to open the main menu, and there you’ll see the ‘Match’ tab. Click on it, and you’ll find the ‘Pause Match’ option. Just click that, and boom, your game is paused. To resume, just follow the same steps and click ‘Resume Match.’ Remember, you can only pause during the buy phases at the start of each round.

No pause button. Gotta earn that pause by being the host or getting permissions. Then it's all about timing in the buy phase.

You can't actually pause a Valorant game whenever you feel like it. Gotta have that timing right during the buy phase. Just make sure you're the boss (game host) or got the green light (permissions) from them.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
