How to Pause in Fallout Shelter
Pausing in Fallout Shelter isn't like hitting pause in your typical game. The game itself doesn't have a traditional pause button because it's designed to keep running, simulating life in the Vault. However, you can kind of 'pause' the game by simply exiting it. The game saves automatically, so when you jump back in, it's as if time stood still. Your Dwellers won't consume resources while you're away, but remember, nothing progresses either!

Just close the app. That's your pause button. This game doesn't really pause in the traditional sense since it's designed to keep going, simulating your vault dwellers living their lives. So if you need a break, just exit the game, and when you come back, it'll be like you paused it. Time freezes, but so does your progress!
Honestly? You can't really 'pause' in Fallout Shelter. It's always on, just like the real post-apocalypse!
