Placing a banner in Terraria is super easy! Just make sure you're standing on solid ground or inside your epic base. Hold the banner in your inventory, then move it to your active hotbar. Next, aim at the spot where you want the banner to hang, and click your use/place item button (left click on PC, for example). Boom! You're decorating like a pro. Just remember, banners need a clear vertical space to hang properly.
Don't overthink it. Banners aren't rocket science. Aim, click, done.
TBH, I used to struggle with placing banners everywhere until I realized they can't be placed in mid-air or on background walls without support. Once I figured that out, my base turned into a banner museum. You literally just select it, aim, and click. Works every time!
