To plant an apricot tree in Stardew Valley, you'll need to first buy an Apricot Sapling from Pierre's General Store or JojaMart. Make sure it's spring, as that's the only season these stores sell them. Once you have your sapling, pick a spot on your farm that's got enough space. You need the eight surrounding tiles to be clear of objects, debris, and other plants. Just plant the sapling by selecting it in your inventory, and clicking on the spot you want it to grow.
