How to Plant Mushrooms in Terraria
Planting mushrooms in Terraria is easy peasy, my friend! First up, you gotta find some Mushroom Grass Seeds. You can get these by chopping down mushrooms in the Glowing Mushroom biome. Now, you've gotta wait for some dirt blocks to grow some lovely green grass. Once that's looking all lush, just spread your Mushroom Grass Seeds on those blocks. Voila! You're officially a mushroom farmer. Remember, the Glowing Mushrooms need to be planted underground or on the surface at night to thrive!

Quick tip: Mushrooms ain't picky, but they love the dark. No fancy soil needed, just slap those seeds on some regular old dirt blocks covered with grass. Underground's the way to go if you want those shrooms to pop up.
I disagree with all this waiting on grass to grow. Just use some mud blocks instead of dirt for those Glowing Mushrooms. Way faster in my experience.
