Hey there! To play 2-player on Sonic Mania for Nintendo Switch, just head to the Mania Mode menu, select 'No Save,' and then 'Competition.' Both players can then choose their characters and get started! You can also try 'Time Attack' if you want some separate but simultaneous fun!

Yo! Quick tip: Just go to 'Competition' mode from the main menu. That's where the 2-player magic happens. Enjoy!

From personal experience, you just go to Mania Mode -> No Save -> Competition. Each player can pick a character and race through the levels. Trust me, it's a blast!

You don't need a complicated guide for this. Just hit up the 'Competition' mode and you're good to go!

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
