You can't actually play as an amiibo yourself, but you can train it! Just tap the amiibo figure on your Switch and watch it grow stronger as it battles. It’s like having a pocket-sized sparring partner!

Unfortunately, you can't directly control an amiibo in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. However, you can train it by scanning it with your Switch and then have it fight alongside or against you in battles.

Amiibos in Smash Ultimate are like digital pets—train them, level them up, but no playing as them directly!

I trained my Link amiibo to be a beast! You just scan it and let it fight; soon it'll be taking down everyone!

Just to clarify: playing as an amiibo isn’t a feature. Enjoy training and seeing it grow instead!
