To play as Master Hand in Melee, you need a controller in slot 3. On the character select screen, hover over your name, press B and hold it, then press A. You'll spawn as Master Hand in any mode!

In Melee, you need a glitch to play Master Hand. It's a bit tricky but totally worth it!

Unfortunately, you can't play as Master Hand in most recent titles without hacking directly.
