Playing Rec Room on a low-end PC isn't impossible, but you'll have to tweak a few settings for a smoother experience. First, lower the game's resolution and graphics quality in the settings. Also, make sure to close other applications to free up your computer's resources. Running the game on a clean boot could help too. And don't forget to update your graphics drivers for optimal performance!

Honestly, just lower the settings to the minimum and hope for the best. Rec Room isn't super demanding, but on a potato PC, every frame counts.

Lower settings? Check. Other apps closed? Check. Still laggy? Maybe it's time to admit your PC can't handle it.

Been there, done that with my ancient laptop. Getting into the habit of regularly cleaning out your PC's temp files and disabling background apps can work wonders. Also, try tweaking your PC's power settings for better performance. Just don't expect miracles on really old hardware.

If you're a Rec Room player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Rec Room gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
