Just a quick FYI, you don't need any extra software for multiplayer in Stardew Valley. But keep in mind, cross-platform play isn't supported, so PC players can't join Switch games and vice versa.

Playing Stardew Valley multiplayer on Switch and PC is pretty straightforward! On the Switch, you'll need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to play with friends. Just start Stardew Valley, select 'Co-op' from the main menu, then choose 'Host' to start a new farm or 'Join' to enter a friend's game. For PC, you launch the game on Steam or GOG, head to 'Co-op', and similarly choose 'Host' or 'Join'. Make sure everyone's game version matches to avoid connection issues!

Honestly, I tried the multiplayer on both Switch and PC, and the setup process is a breeze. Biggest tip: communication is key! Makes planning your farm and adventures so much easier.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
