How to Play Terraria Multiplayer Cross-Platform
Officially, Terraria doesn't support cross-platform play. That means if your friend is on Xbox and you're on PC, you can't join the same game directly through the game's systems. Each version of Terraria is separate based on the platform. However, there are unofficial mods and servers out there that people have created to workaround this. It's a bit of a gray area though, so proceed with caution and always make sure you're not compromising your game or personal data!

Nope, Terraria doesn't do cross-platform multiplayer. You gotta stick to the same system as your friends.
As much as I wish it was different, Terraria doesn't officially support cross-platform multiplayer. I've played on both PC and Switch, and unfortunately, couldn't join games between them. It's a bummer, but the game is still a blast to play with friends on the same platform!
