It's super easy! From the main menu, go to 'Smash,' pick 'Smash' again, and have the second player press any button on their controller to join. You're ready to brawl!

Start up the game, go to 'Smash' mode, and have your buddy hit any button on their Joy-Con or Pro Controller. Easy peasy!
