Why would anyone play with black bars? Just enjoy the game in full screen and see everything clearly. Black bars are so 2003.

Just set your game to 4:3 aspect ratio in the settings, and it should give you those black bars you're after. Not sure why you'd want to, though. Playing on full screen gives you better visibility IMO.

Playing Valorant with black bars, eh? You're probably looking to get that old-school, focused view, or maybe your monitor setup demands it. Whichever the case, you'll need to dive into your graphics card's control panel. For NVIDIA, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 'Adjust desktop size and position,' select 'Aspect ratio' and choose 'Perform scaling on: Display,' then apply. Don't forget to set Valorant's in-game resolution to match the aspect ratio you're aiming for. AMD users, you've got a similar path in the Radeon Settings. This trick narrows your field of vision but can make things feel more concentrated.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
