Tough news here, but straight to the point: You can't play Valorant on a Chromebook without using Linux. Valorant requires Windows to run, and even with some technical gymnastics, Chrome OS just doesn't support Windows apps directly. Your best bet for that Valorant action would be to look into dual-booting Linux on your Chromebook to then use a Windows emulator or hope for a Chrome OS-compatible version in the future!

I tried all the workarounds you can imagine. Even considered the dark arts of computing to somehow make it work, but no dice. You really need Linux as a middleman to get anywhere close to playing Valorant on a Chromebook. It's not what you wanted to hear, but it's the deal.

Short answer: You don't. Valorant needs Windows, and Chromebooks run Chrome OS, which isn't compatible with Valorant. Sorry to burst your bubble!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
