How to play Valorant on Parallels

Playing Valorant on Parallels might not give you the smooth, pixel-perfect experience you're hoping for. Valorant relies heavily on Vanguard, its anti-cheat system, which tends to have issues with virtual environments like Parallels. Essentially, trying to run Valorant on a Mac through Parallels could lead to performance issues or even prevent the game from running at all. Plus, Riot Games doesn't officially support Valorant on platforms outside of Windows, so you might also risk your account. A safer bet? Boot Camp your Mac to run Windows natively for a much better experience!

I've actually managed to run Valorant through Parallels on my Mac, but it wasn't easy and not worth the effort. Performance was below par, and I ran into issues with Vanguard. If you're serious about playing Valorant, either get a Windows PC or set up your Mac with Boot Camp. Trust me, it's a much smoother experience.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
