Just put your console in the DMZ of the router settings. Easiest way to open all the ports for gaming, including Apex Legends. But be aware, it might expose your console to more security risks.

Port forwarding for Apex Legends can really help reduce lag and improve your connection! First, you need to access your router's settings, which you can usually do by typing its IP address into your browser. Look for a section labeled 'Port Forwarding', 'Apps', or 'Gaming'. You'll need to enter Apex Legends' specific port numbers which are typically TCP: 1024-1124, 3216, 18000, 18060, 27900, 28910, 29900 and UDP: 1024-1124, 18000, 37000-40000. Set the device IP to your PC or console's IP address. Save changes and restart your router. Should see improvement in online game stability!

Why bother? Apex works fine without messing around with ports. Just make sure your internet is fast enough and you're good.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
