How to prevent corruption from spreading in Terraria
Preventing corruption from spreading in Terraria is key to saving your world and your sanity! First up, you'll wanna dig some sunflower power! Planting Sunflowers near the corruption can slow its spread, thanks to their happy vibes or something. But for the heavy lifting, you're gonna need to break out the shovel or, better yet, a Clentaminator. This beast can cleanse or spread biomes with different solutions you can buy. Digging trenches at least three blocks wide around corrupted areas is also a classic move. No corruption can jump that gap, especially if you line the sides with non-corruptible blocks like wood or clay. Remember, corruption can't spread through the air if there's a big enough gap, so think of it as making a moat around your castle!

As someone who's spent WAY too much time fighting the spread of corruption, I swear by the trench method. I dig mine five blocks wide just to be safe and line them with wood. It's a bit of work, but it's also a 100% effective way to keep your base and favorite biomes safe. Also, using purification powder on corrupted blocks you can't isolate or remove helps a ton!
Just use the Clentaminator, easiest way. Buy it, spray the area, done. Nobody's got time for digging trenches.
