Just press the + button, go to the 'Amiibo' option, and scan the Amiibo on the right Joy-Con's stick. Piece of cake!
You do it from the map screen by pressing the + button. Choose 'Amiibo,' then place the Amiibo figure on the right stick of the Joy-Con or the NFC area of the Pro Controller.
Super easy! Hit the + button to open the menu, select 'Amiibo' and then just touch your Amiibo to the NFC reader on your Switch. Boom, done.
