U don't need it. Fishing is easy once u get the hang of it. The barbed hook might help beginners, but save your resources for something cooler.

First, make sure you've got a barbed hook in your inventory. Then, open your inventory, select the barbed hook by clicking on it, and right-click (or tap, if you're on mobile) on your fishing rod. Bam! You're all set to catch some bigger fish with that upgraded rod.

Just drag and drop, buddy! Open your inventory, click and hold the barbed hook, and then drop it onto your fishing rod. If that doesn't work, you might not have the Iridium Rod yet. You need that rod to attach any tackle, including the barbed hook. Time to save up some of that Stardew Valley gold!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
